DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO NYERERE NATIONAL PARK

Morning: Depart from Dar es Salaam city center, embarking on a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park. The distance varies between 184 km to 230 km, depending on the chosen entry gate, typically taking about 5 to 6 hours.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, check in at your selected lodge. Later, enjoy a thrilling boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River, where you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK

Morning: After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive in a 4×4 vehicle, exploring the vast landscapes and rich biodiversity of the park.
Wildlife Highlights: Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, impalas, elands, zebras, and greater kudus.

DAY 3: WALKING SAFARI AND GAME DRIVE

DAYS 4 & 5: FULL-DAY SPORT FISHING ON THE RUFJI RIVER

Morning: After breakfast, dedicate these days to sport fishing on the Rufiji River.
Fishing Targets: Aim to catch the fierce tigerfish, known for its fighting spirit, and the massive catfish, which can weigh up to 50 kilograms.
Afternoon: Enjoy picnic lunches amidst the serene riverine environment.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: RETURN TO DAR ES SALAAM

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Dar es Salaam, covering the same distance of approximately 184 km to 230 km, with a travel time of about 5 to 6 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive in Dar es Salaam, concluding your safari adventure.
