Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Day 2: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Morning: Depart Nairobi early, driving southeast towards Tsavo West National Park, a journey of approximately 4.5 hours. En route, observe the changing landscapes from urban settings to the Kenyan countryside.
Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge in Tsavo West in time for lunch. After settling in, set out on your first game drive. Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos and crocodiles. An underground viewing chamber offers a unique perspective of aquatic life.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner. As night falls, listen to the sounds of the wild, with the possibility of spotting nocturnal animals near the lodge’s waterhole.
Day 3: Exploring Tsavo West National Park
Morning: Begin an early morning game drive to catch predators like lions and leopards at their most active. The park’s diverse habitats, including savannah, woodlands, and rocky ridges, support a wide range of wildlife.
Afternoon: After lunch, visit the Shetani Lava Flow, a vast field of dark volcanic rock formed from past volcanic activity. The area offers insights into the park’s geological history and provides panoramic views.
Evening: Enjoy a sundowner at a scenic spot, watching the African sun set over the horizon. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
Morning: Leave Tsavo West and drive to Amboseli National Park, a journey of about 5.5 hours. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Afternoon: After lunch at your lodge, head out for a game drive. The park’s open plains make it easier to spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner. The clear skies of Amboseli offer excellent stargazing opportunities.
Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Morning: Start an early morning game drive to witness the park’s wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peaks. This is also the best time to observe predators before they retreat from the midday heat.
Afternoon: Visit a Maasai village to learn about the indigenous Maasai culture, their traditional lifestyles, and their harmonious relationship with nature.
Evening: Enjoy a final game drive, capturing the park’s beauty as the sun sets. Return to the lodge for a farewell dinner.
Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi and Departure
Morning: After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi, approximately a 4-hour journey.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Nairobi, you may have time for optional activities such as visiting the Karen Blixen Museum or the Giraffe Centre, depending on your flight schedule.
Evening: Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Kenyan safari.
