Day 2: Nairobi to Mount Kenya National Park

Morning: Depart Nairobi, heading towards Mount Kenya National Park. En route, enjoy views of the Aberdare Mountains to the west.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, embark on a gentle hike through the lower forested slopes of Mount Kenya, acclimating to the altitude and immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity.

Day 3: Lake Ellis Exploration

Day 4: Chogoria Route and Gorges Valley

Day 5: Mount Kenya to Maasai Mara

Morning: After breakfast, transfer to Nanyuki for your flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, embark on an introductory game drive, witnessing the diverse wildlife and expansive savannahs.
Evening: Check into your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and relax under the African sky.

Days 6-7: Maasai Mara Exploration

Morning and Afternoon: Dedicate these days to immersive game drives, aiming to spot the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous other species.
Optional Activities: Consider visiting a local Maasai village to learn about their culture or taking a hot air balloon ride at dawn for a unique perspective of the landscape.
Evenings: Return to your lodge for dinner, sharing stories of the day’s sightings.

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Morning: Enjoy a final early morning game drive or relax at your lodge.
Afternoon: Fly or drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your onward travel plans, you may opt to fly directly from the Maasai Mara to Mombasa for a coastal extension.
