Katavi National Park

Katavi National Park is located in western Tanzania and is one of the most remote and least visited parks in the country, making it a true wilderness experience. The park is known for its stunning landscapes, including vast floodplains, palm-fringed rivers, and dense woodlands, as well as a high concentration of wildlife.

What to See and Do

  • Game Drives: Katavi offers exceptional game drives, particularly during the dry season when wildlife congregates around the remaining water sources. Visitors can expect to see large herds of buffalo, elephants, and hippos, as well as lions and other predators.
