Payment Policy

At Kili Peacock Adventures, we aim to make the payment process straightforward and transparent. Our Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to deposits, final payments, and accepted payment methods.

  1. Deposit and Booking Confirmation
  • Deposit Requirement: A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to secure your booking. This deposit forms part of the total payment for the trip and shall be offset against the total amount charged to the client.
  • Booking Confirmation: Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you a signed and stamped contract via email confirming your reservation. Please review all details carefully and inform us immediately of any discrepancies.
  1. Final Payment
  • Due Date: The remaining balance of 70% is due no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date. Clients booking within 30 days of tour departure are required to pay the full amount immediately to secure the reservation.
  • Non-Payment: If the full amount is not paid at least 30 days prior to departure, the company reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled, and the deposit shall be forfeited.
  1. Accepted Payment Methods
  • Bank Transfer: Payments can be made via bank transfer. Bank details will be provided upon request. Please ensure that all bank charges are covered by the client to avoid any shortfall in the amount received.
  • Online Payment: We accept online payments through our secure payment system using credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) with a surcharge of 4%. Payment instructions and a link to the payment portal will be provided upon request.
  • Cash Payments: In certain circumstances, cash payments may be accepted upon arrival. Please note that US dollar notes printed prior to 2001 are not accepted anywhere in Tanzania.
  1. Currency and Additional Charges
  • Currency: All payments should be made in US Dollars (USD). Please note that currency exchange fluctuations may affect the total amount due.
  • Bank Charges: All bank charges, including transaction fees charged by our bank, are to be settled by the client. The amount shown on the invoice is the amount that needs to reflect in our account; any shortfall due to bank charges will be billed to the client.
  1. Payment Confirmation
  • Receipt Issuance: Upon receiving your payment, we will issue a receipt confirming the amount received and the status of your booking. Please retain this receipt for your records.
