Morning drive from Kampala south with a lunch stop at the Lakeview hotel in Mbarara, then proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country. Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp.

After a half hour briefing by the park ranger guide, we start an 8 hr trek to find the mountain gorillas; can take 2 hrs up to about 10 hrs of trekking time. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we drive to Kampala, with a lunch stop in Mbarara; followed by another stop at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping; arrive in Kampala in the evening.
