Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to Moshi Coffee Lodge for your overnight stay. In the evening, our guide will provide a comprehensive briefing about the upcoming adventure.
We embark on our journey southward to Mikumi National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest park, encompassing part of a 75,000 square kilometer wilderness that includes the Selous Game Reserve.
After an early morning game drive in Mikumi, we proceed to the southern highlands, heading towards Iringa.
Crossing into Malawi, known as the “Warm Heart of Africa,” we descend the Great Rift Valley to the shores of Lake Malawi. Over the next few days, enjoy optional activities such as visiting local communities, hiking to Livingstonia Mission, or relaxing on the beach.
We depart Lake Malawi, cross into Zambia, and head to South Luangwa National Park, arriving at our camp on the Luangwa River.
After a morning visit to Tribal Textiles near Chipata, we continue to the town of Petauke.
Traveling along the Great East Road, we journey through rural Zambia, crossing the Luangwa River en route to Lusaka.
We traverse southern Zambia to the adventure hub of Victoria Falls. Explore the magnificent falls and partake in optional activities such as craft market visits or adrenaline-fueled adventures.
Crossing into Botswana, we venture into the Okavango Delta. Engage in activities like traditional mokoro rides and nature walks, immersing yourself in one of the world’s last great wilderness areas.
Leaving the Delta, we travel to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango, and reflect on our experiences around the campfire.
Optional scenic flight over the Delta in the morning, followed by a journey to Ghanzi in the central Kalahari. Here, we learn about the San people’s survival strategies and enjoy their traditional songs, dances, and stories.
Heading north, we embark on two days of game viewing in Namibia’s Etosha National Park, exploring its abundant wildlife and unique landscapes.
We travel towards Kamanjab to visit a Himba community project, then proceed to Khorixas, concluding the day with a visit to the Petrified Forest.
Journeying to Spitzkoppe, we explore San rock paintings before reaching the coastal town of Swakopmund. Enjoy a free day engaging in adventure activities, exploring the town, or relaxing in local cafes.
Departing Swakopmund, we stop in Walvis Bay before heading east into the Namib Desert. A local guide will introduce us to the desert’s wonders.
An early start takes us to Sesriem, the gateway to the Sossusvlei dune fields. We climb the iconic Dune 45 and visit Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, concluding with a stop at Sesriem Canyon.
We venture south to Ais-Ais, renowned for its hot springs, offering a perfect respite under the desert stars.
Exploring the rim of Fish River Canyon in the morning, we then travel to the banks of the Orange River, with an optional canoe trip in the afternoon.
Crossing into South Africa, we traverse the desert landscapes of Namaqualand to the Cedarberg region, celebrating our journey with a traditional South African meal.
The final leg takes us through the Swartland’s wheat fields to Cape Town. En route, we enjoy a wine tasting and capture photos of Table Mountain from Table View. The tour concludes upon arrival in Cape Town.
