This 10-day safari offers an unparalleled exploration of Tanzania’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. From the scenic vistas of Mkomazi National Park, home to the critically endangered Eastern black rhino, to the lush forests of Gombe Stream National Park, renowned for its chimpanzee populations, and culminating in the iconic Serengeti National Park during the dramatic Mara River crossing of the Great Migration, this journey provides an immersive and unforgettable experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

• Evening: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a sign with your name. After completing arrival formalities, transfer to Keys Hotel in Moshi town for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Moshi – Mkomazi National Park – Moshi

• Morning: Depart between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM from Moshi town, heading to Mkomazi National Park with a packed lunch.
• Afternoon: Enjoy game drives in the park, seeking sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Bird enthusiasts can look forward to spotting some of the 350 recorded bird species. Visit the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary to learn about conservation efforts for the Eastern black rhino.
• Evening: Return to Keys Hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Moshi – Arusha – Kigoma

• Morning: Transfer to either Moshi or Arusha Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Kigoma.
• Afternoon: Upon arrival, meet and greet, followed by a transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel.
• Evening: Optional sightseeing tour of Kigoma and Ujiji Town or leisure time at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel.

Day 4: Kigoma – Gombe Stream National Park

• Morning: After breakfast, embark on a boat journey along Lake Tanganyika to Gombe Stream National Park.
• Afternoon: Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge. If time permits, proceed with an initial chimpanzee tracking excursion.
• Evening: Dinner and overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge.

Day 5: Gombe Stream National Park

• Morning: After breakfast, set out for chimpanzee tracking, observing these primates in their natural habitat.
• Afternoon: Hike to Kakombe Waterfalls, enjoying the park’s stunning scenery.
• Evening: Meals and overnight stay at Gombe Forest Lodge.

Day 6: Gombe Stream National Park – Kigoma – Arusha

• Morning: After breakfast, transfer by boat back to Kigoma, followed by a vehicle transfer to Kigoma Airport with a packed lunch.
• Afternoon: Board a scheduled flight to Arusha.
• Evening: Upon arrival, transfer to Mount Meru Hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 7: Arusha – Serengeti National Park (Kogatende)

• Morning: After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for a morning flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the Northern Serengeti.
• Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti Savannah Camp, arriving before sunset.
• Evening: Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camp.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti

• Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, focusing on the Mara River area to witness the dramatic wildebeest migration river crossings.
• Evening: Return to Serengeti Savannah Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Northern Serengeti

• Morning: Optional early morning game drive at dawn, followed by breakfast at the camp.
• Afternoon: Continue exploring the Northern Serengeti, observing predators and other wildlife amidst the migration.
• Evening: Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camp.

Day 10: Serengeti – Arusha – Departure

• Morning: Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast.
• Afternoon: Transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for a flight back to Arusha.
• Evening: Upon arrival in Arusha, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
